Ringing In the New Year: What to Expect from RB’s Pool and Spa Service Business Software
2021 is almost upon us! At RB, we reexamine our pool and spa service business software each year to ensure we’re listening to and implementing the feedback we receive from our customers. For the New Year, we’re excited to share that we’ve expanded our software integration to include RB Web Services! Our point of sale software can now intelligently integrate with your existing website publishing and online sales and marketing platform.
So, what does this mean for your pool and spa service business? With this integration, you will position your business to save thousands by:
- automating and streamlining your operations
- eliminating manual data entry and data transfer
- reducing human error
- creating a single solution to manage your online and in-store purchases
- better engage and maintain customers
Read on to dig deeper into the key features of the RB Web Services integration.
1. Sync products, inventory, and pricing
Managing multiple sources of product administration, pricing, inventory control, and sales orders is a headache! Now, you can have a unified and automated process between your website catalogs and RB Point of Sales system. This will save an incredible amount of time, as you no longer will need to update this information in two places! What happens in one will automatically update the other. With this feature, you can:
- send inventory from your POS to your website.
- sync product inventory from your POS to your website, and choose whether to display or hide stock levels to your customers on your website.
- manage product pricing from your POS, and have it automatically update the website.
- search, categorize, or filter products in your inventory for easier viewing and tracking.
2. Sync customer information and history
Store all customer information from your website platform to your RB POS software. You can also generate a report of a customer’s purchase history on the integrated company’s RB Server, and customers can log in to your website to view their order history, regardless of whether their purchase was online or in-store.
3. Sync eCommerce orders, including invoicing and payments
Automatically update your RB software based on sales made on your eCommerce website. Regardless of whether your customer buys online or in-store, customer order information will update automatically in the POS. This also includes gift card purchases!
4. Submit quotes
Build and store a quote within a client portal on your website, as well as set up a sales order within your RB Point of sales system – in seconds! This eliminates re-entry and manual input.
5. Manage service bookings with scheduling software
Automatically verify if a service time slot is available within RB at the time of an online booking. Once booking is complete, you can automatically create a service sales order within RB and update the calendar.
